The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum calls for an immediate end to the antisemitic actions taking place across our state, most recently in Austin and San Antonio, where neo-Nazis publicly threatened Jews, and the outer wall of a synagogue was set on fire, likely by arson.

We Texans are better than this and need to reach out to our Jewish neighbors, friends, and families to support them at this time.

We at the Museum are often asked, “What can I do to help?” By learning about what antisemitism is, its history, how it is present today, and how we as a community can work to combat antisemitism, you can become part of the solution. This four-part public program examined the origins and history of antisemitism, discussed the recent increase in antisemitism in the United States and globally, and identified concrete steps that can be taken to confront and disrupt antisemitism. We encourage you to share this important series with your family, friends, and colleagues so they too can be inspired to connect with local organizations in their communities to start to make a difference.

Another helpful resource is the Museum’s online Tool Kit for Confronting Antisemitism, which provides useful tips for families and caregivers, professionals, and students, educators and school administrators.
