The Universal Declaration of Human Rights
Following the trials of major Nazi leaders in Nuremberg, René Cassin drafted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Together with Eleanor Roosevelt, he based the declaration on four foundations: dignity, liberty, equality, and brotherhood. See the drafters of the Declaration at work.
