Anne Frank: A Private Photo Album
December 1, 2012 - March 24, 2013
Long before Otto Frank decided to hide his family from the Nazis and more than a decade before his daughter Anne wrote one of the ten most read books in the world, he was a father who merely enjoyed snapping family photos with his Leica camera. The exhibition includes 71 of Otto Frank’s 400 photographs that initially filled four albums he’d hidden in the Annex. After the family was discovered and deported the albums were lost but were eventually returned.
