STATEMENT ABOUT ANTISEMITIC ATTACK IN JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEY

The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum condemns the targeted, antisemitic attack in Jersey City that resulted in the loss of four innocent lives. Antisemitism is on the rise around the world, and we are particularly concerned with the increase of violent acts of antisemitism in America. We condemn antisemitism in all its forms. We urge all citizens to work together to confront and combat antisemitism when they witness it in their daily lives. From the study of the Holocaust, we know too well the consequences of unchecked antisemitism.

We applaud the heroic actions of the police and implore others to join us in our mission to combat prejudice, hatred, and indifference. To learn more about the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum please visit dhhrm.org.
